Looking Back

Since November is Picture Book Month, I want to take some time each week to post some of my favorite picture books from the year. This is not a “best” list, just a list of some of the picture books that, even many months later, are still with me. Some are great mentor texts; others are terrific read alouds. Whether they made me laugh, cry, reread, they are books that remain. Here is the first set from my February 2014 reading list.
