Rewards of Reading

Since I have been writing about a program that gives rewards (points) for reading, Accelerated Reader (and BTW, ANY program that does this is just as bad, guilty, soul-sucking, etc.), some might think that I ignore the true rewards of reading. Here is a link that says nicely what I think are the rewards we get from reading, reading for pleasure especially.
