How much do I love what the public library system did to combat those who were opposing a less than a penny tax hike to fund libraries? Watch the video that details their subversive approach:

It is National Library Week. How about showing some love for libraries? I love my public library system here. Its director stood up to the folks who MULCHED books on the front steps of one of the branches. She has refused to remove books at this group's direction. She has replaced books checked out and "lost." For that she has been recognized by ALA and TLA and deservedly so. Let's all remember to SpeakLoudly in support of libraries.
ETA: I have been told the video is a hoax. That is a shame. Shame on me for not checking it out; shame that on one has done a video like this. Oh well, live and earn.
