Quite the contrary

To celebrate Digital Learning Day, I spent most of the day weeding books and audio and packing them so they can go to new homes. Then, I spent the rest of the day lost in a book. Yes, I did check Twitter and Facebook periodically. I answered email that needed an immediate response. But, that was it. I am plugged in a lot as most of you know. Digital literacy is part of my daily routine. It is integrated and integral in what I do. And so it should be for our kids, too. But until ACCESS is improved, I fear it will not be integral and integrated. So, let's talk about how we can narrow the widening ACCESS gap, too.
