Today was the end of the ALAN Workshop. Again, it was a terrific day especially since I had the chance to have lunch with the energetic and effervescent Cecil Castellucci. Nikki Grimes was a word warrior. The vampire panel took a bite out of our fatigue (ouch) and the panel with Matt de la Pena, Chris Crutcher and Pat Hughes was the best! John Green got us all on our feet, no mean feat for a tired group of Habitrail refugees. Off to Houston tomorrow with millions of other travelers. Happy Gobbler Day, folks!
