Finally back from the Habitrail known as Opryland for the evening. Spent all day today in meetings, starting the day with USBBY and ending with the Standing Committee Against Censorship. The Middle Level Get Together featured the inimitable Christopher Paul Curtis who gave us a rip roaring speech and a reading from BUCKING THE SARGE. I was beginning to feel guilty that I had not popped for the Opening Night Banquet with Elie Wiesel until they announced that Weisel was grounded in New York and would not be able to get to Nashville to speak. Seems I made a good choice after all.

Now I am getting ready to watch CSI and get some rest before tomorrow's early start. If you are here in Nashville, holler!
