hotel from hell
I listed in previous post the 10 best things about NCTE and ALAN. Here are the 10 things that have made me crazy all courtesy of the HQ hotel.
1. room temp cannot be adjusted. it is like a sauna
2. no clean towels, etc. on some days
3. TV that changes channels by itself but does not work otherise
4. gift shop never has soft drinks
5. labrinth hallways to find rooms which are not where they are supposed to be
6. restaurant closed due to remodeling
7. exhibit in cave with no signs to let us know who is where
8. entire hotel seems unready for a conference but I think it is the teacher part that makes them care less
9. bathroom the size of postage stamp
10. signage that is incorrect
