more picture books, still Monday!

HAPPY HIPPO, ANGRY DUCK by Sandra Boynton (Little Simon 2011) is a book about moods. Hippo is happy. The same can not be said for the duck who is angry. This board book runs the gamut of emotions and talks about the fact that moods can change quickly (unless you are the angry duck). <228>

WHO DO I SEE? by Salina Moon is another board book. A die cut circle runs throughout each page giving readers a glimpse of some colorful animals and asking them to guess what they will see when they turn the page. Great concept book. <229>
