Random House dinner
Wow, barbecue and authors and Austin. How good is my life? Dinner tonight was at s downtown BBQ restaurant where we dined family style in leatherette booths. I had the fabulous fortune of dining with Carrie Ryan (FOREST OF HANDS AND TEETH) and editor Francoiose Bui who I had the good fortune to meet a few months ago in Albuquerque at the YALSA symposium.
Dinner was delish, of course. Conversation was just as tasty. Now I am safely back in my hotel, for the evening. Tomorrow at 8 am is the season on booktalkling with my friend and colleague Rosemary Chance. Hope to see some of you early birds there.
