Lesson: always going to be winners and losers in the game. Some books will work for Packers and some for Steelers. If you do not know the Mean Joe Green commercial, the House parody does not work. NFL needs to reward reading and maybe practice some read aloud before tackling the Declaration of Independence. We need to teach kids about hyperbole before they see Michael Douglas compare football to Iwo Jima. We need to use the commercials to look at propaganda and to discuss humor versus puerile attempts at humor.
