funny and short: what more could we ask from a book?
CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS is a guilty pleasure of mine. When a book arrives in a box and it short and funny, that book generally rises to the top of the stack. I get a great feeling of accomplishment when I can breeze through a book and move on to another, especially with the stack of Quick Picks books waiting for me to read them before annual begins next week.

DRACULA VS. GRAMPA AT THE MONSTER TRUCK SPECTACULAR is the first book in the new Wiley & Grampa Creature Features series by Kirk Scroggs. It is quick and funny, no silly, and I loved it. Kids who are addicted to the Pilkey books will be thrilled to find something else right up their alley.
