another day, another book

Today was given over to back to school shopping for the resident of the back bedroom. She should now be good to go. My Dad arrives late tonight and my sister late tomorrow and then we will celebrate my nephew's wedding Saturday.

In the meantime, here is my #bookaday before I collapse. No cover to show, alas, but that is OK for a professional book, I think.

THE READERS' ADVISORY HANDBOOOK edited by Jessica Moyer and Kaite Stover (ALA Editions 2010) is chock full of advice and ideas for those seeking to provide RA services to all ages of the library population. While all of the contributors are public librarians, there are many chapters with information that could be tweaked for school use. How to do book groups, provide RA for teens and adults, how to do genre studies are all valuable components of the book. <292>

Now, on to some grading before my brain disappears for the day...
