May Books

Paul Hankins invited me to join a Facebook group called the Centurions whose challenge was to read 100 books in 2010. Little did he know (or perhaps he did) that it would spur me to read even more. Now, I have my sights set on 200 (and am at 198 today) and hope to do 365 for the year, a book a day. Some are picture books (cheating, I know) but most are MG and YA and a few adult titles and professional books to boot.

Here is the list from May:

1. ARCHVILLAIN
2. LAWN BOY RETURNS
3. BEAUTIFUL CREATURES
4. FRAMED
5. TIGER AND TURTLE

I have compiled lists from the beginning of the year, and I am so happy I did this. It remnds me, when I look back, at some books I read that I loved but so many others have come along since. I am not on a book selection committee this year, so I have the luxury of reading a book and moving on to the next willy-nilly. This list and the others from Kanuary through April do show an incredible hodge-podge of reading.
