oh the horror

Librarians looking for some good resources for readers' advisory, especially when it comes to horror fiction, look no further. This 500+ page volume has thousands of annotations of adult horror titles; each annotation includes some other recommendations along the lines of "if you liked this one..." I learned a great deal about the various subgenres and only wish I had time to read some of the adult titles that caught my eye.

On a different note, had dinner with bride to be and her fiance. I gave BTB one of my opals and she had it reset for her something old, something new and something blue. Gorgeous. Wanted it back to tell the truth. But it looks beautiful on her hand, too.
