OT-Continental Airlines and Customer Service

I am the first one to complain when I am not treated well by a company. So, I think it only fair to point out when people go beyond the call in their jobs. Yesterday, I saw too extreme acts of kindness aboard the flight from Houston to Newark. First, a gate agent came aboard to apologize to a customer about a mix up on seats. She apologized several times even though the customer was not in the least upset and offered some coupons and headsets, etc. Then, since the couple next to me spoke no English, one of the flight attendants pulled his drinks from the cart and showed them all to the couple until he found which ones they wanted. I was impressed by his patience and perseverance. Thanks, Continental. I will try to keep this in mind the next time someone does not exhibit the same level of professionalism and commitment to customer service.
