another installment of Picture Book Monday

A picture book that is metafiction? Really? Oh yes it is, and it is pure awesome. A little girl lives in a book with her family. Trouble is, she does not know her story. And so she goes in search of it. She visits fairy tales, mysterious locales, travels back to historical fiction land. But still, no story. What will she do? Mordecai Gerstein's A BOOK (Roaring Brook, 2009) is an incredible journey. Take readers along, readers of all ages.
