some final picture books for a glorious Spring Day!!!

I know from Twitter and Facebook that some of you are having snow days today. Here is a book that celebrates snow days from the perspective of a young rabbit looking expectantly at the accumulating snow and wanting to be outside playing in it.

And now here are two spring books.

Peep is afraid to jump down from the sidewalk into the street to follow his mother and fellow peeplings. Vibrant yellows and simple lines offer comfort for those sometimes overwhelmed by life's challenges.

Despite being down 5 to nothing in the first inning, the Delmar Dogs have hope somehow that they might win despite being one of the worst teams in baseball. A nice variation on "Casey at the Bat' will be great for choral reading.
