reading in dribs and drabs

I have been working on another project and not had too much time to read this week. I have two books going at the same time and am not making headway. I did manage to squeeze in some time during my mani/pedi today (this is my Spring Break) and here is the trailer for the book I am reading right now.




I am still thinking about Reading Ladders (my forthcoming book from Heinemann) so I immediately see ties to GATHERING BLUE and some other novels. However, this one has a voice all its own. Hope to find time tomorrow to finish it and MARCELO IN THE REAL WORLD. Will post as I can.
