San Antonio, baby!

NCTE got underway this afternoon. I was lucky to have a full house for my workshop on new books. It is always so heartening to see teachers anxious to learn about new titles for teens and tweens. People were sitting on the floor and leaning against walls. Afterward, there were the Get Togethers and welcoming party and general sessions. Since I am still a bit under the weather, I opted to come back to the hotel after my workshop. So, early in the jammies for me. Tomorrow is a full day with sessions to present and attend and lunch with the lovely and talented Don Gallo and C J Bott and dinner with the "guys" from Random House.
