bus all day

Today my travel companion Rosemary and I took one of the tours IASL offered. We headed off on a bus for several hours to the Napa Valley to the top of a mountain to O'Shaunnesy's Winery. Nice lunch. Terrific wine. Then, back down the road to a school library and then on to SF for a quick tour and a ride across both bridges and then back to the hotel. Hot and tired, we are (as Yoda would say).

I did read this one last night:

Eisner winner Hope Larson takes that quintessential summer experience of camp and gives it to readers in a GN format. Of course, there are not just the usual catty girls at this summer camp. There must be some intrigue and some D and D and some romance as well. Quick read and quirky as well. The cover makes the book look like one of those tweenie camp books. It is much more than that.

No time for writing today or, more than likely, tomorrow as we have a preconference to present on booktalking. Will get some time in after this is all over, I hope.
