still working, still writing

Sunday morning proved a tad more of a challenge since we have church on our schedule. And today after church I had to go pick up a rental car and run some errands as we leave tomorrow for San Angelo in West Texas. I will do an all day workshop there for 70+ teachers and librarians on Tuesday.

But I did find 15 minutes to write this morning. Now I am working on Chapter 3. I managed to get 300+ words before it was time to get dressed for church. Now I am home again and packed for the trip. I might be able to wangle some more time if Scout continues to nap next to me. This morning he interrupted me by dragging his treat dish across the floor toward the bedroom where I hibernate to write in the mornings.

Check out Cecil Castellucci's cat, also named Scout, on her blog.

I promise to post about books soon. I am in the middle of 3 audiobooks and 3 books at the same time. I hope to finish at least one of each on the trip this week.
