Hinton's new book

So, has anyone else read the new Hinton? I must admit that at first I was disappointed that she was not targeting the YA market. However, I am enjoying the story as an adult reader. I wonder how many of her fans from the past years will gravitate toward this one? Of course, I am also concened that someone will hand this one off to a younger reader without noticing that it is aimed at adults.

So Yesterday

I just got sucked into this book despite the fact that the title was a bit off-putting for me (the pop song and all that is associated with it). I love the concept already. Westerfeld is one of those new voices (new to me at least) who seems to really be able to write quite different stories. I loved MIDNIGHTERS and look forward to the next book in that series. SO YESTERDAY will, I think, strike a chord with readers of all ages. I am only in the first part of the book, so I will reserve final judgment, but it hooked me immediately.
