physics and all that matters

From Kingfisher comes this gem of a book that would have been handy when I was in high school or even earlier in the year when Nat was taking intro to chem and physics. Anime-like illustrations of important people and things in the study of physics, short and simple text, and one page explanations and definitions make this one of the user-friendly science books I have seen for a while. Speed, energy, amplitude, Schrodinger's Cat (which I know about because of THE BIG BANG THEORY sitcom which I adore), and neutrinos are just a few of the items that suddenly make more sense. Content area folks will love this book and the other, earlier one,THE PERIODIC TABLE: ELEMENTS WITH STYLE.
