celeb authors

I know there is a joke here somewhere: you might be a curmudgeon if...but I generally despise celebrity authored books for children. They tend to be poorly conceived and poorly rendered, too. However, this is a not-too-bad collection of short and funny poems that will appeal to young readers, those who do not know Foxworthy as anything other than someone who penned some poems for them. The illustrations depict mood and tone nicely. The exuberant kid on the cover is certainly a welcome to the book, too.

Compared to the other celeb book I read after this one..and I think I will allow Roger Sutton's comments about READ ALL ABOUT IT suffice. I can think of nothing I would add.
