I feel a foot!

It is a shame there is no cover to show as I picked up this picture book because of the bright splashes of color against a black back drop. This is a variation of an old tale, one probably best rendered by Ed Young in SEVEN BLIND MICE. Here, Turtle, Bat, Octopus, Bird, and Goat all encounter something when they tumble from a hammock. Each believes the "object" to be something different. Of course, once they all put their information together, they discover the object is an elephant. The book will be available from Lemniscaat (Boyds Mills) in the fall.
