getting graphic

I had actually read the Booklist review of this graphic novel from Michael Hague before it arrived yesterday. I have quite a few other books illustrated by Hague from THE WIZARD OF OZ to picture books. His style for those illustrations is quite different from the ones that grace IN THE SMALL. Here is the story of a strange blue shroud that leaves all of mankind reduced to miniature size. Chaos ensues. Buildings tumble; fires destroy other structures. Many die or are killed. However, a few band together led by visionaries who know what must happen if survival is the goal.

The end promises that there is more to come after this installment ends. And the cover proclaims the book is soon to be made into a movie. This will appeal to all those GN fans, especially the ones who are enjoying Artemis Fowl and Redwall and the like.
