take one for HP withdrawal pain

Thea and her pals are up against the veritable monster in the machine when spam emails cause strange results at the Wandless Academy. The spam is relatively harmless at the outset: lovesickness, sudden trips across boundaries, and such. However, there is a malevolent spirit at work somewhere and it up to Thea and Terry to discover who is hacking into the Nexus computer system and threatening the sanctity of the academy and its residents.

This is the second in the saga with more to come, I suspect. It has many of the ingredients of the HP series: boarding school, magic and a ban on using magic, the FBM (Federal Bureau of Magic), a young mage coming into her own in terms of unusual powers, and danger everywhere. Though all the basic ingredients are here, the recipe is different as is the delicious outcome.
