picture books galore
I have been remiss in reading some of the picture books crowding the shelves in my office. In the spirit of my 2008 mantra, I plan to post about as many as I can in the next couple of hours. I am teaching three sections of children's lit this semester and want to have some new books to share. Plus, most of these would amuse tweens and some teens as well.

Randoplh (the beaver) and Ivy (the goose)share an apartment. When Ivy is invited to a party and Randoph is not, he determines to do everything in his power to make Ivy's weekend awful. I love the idea of two very different folks sharing an apartment. It is tough sometimes not to turn rotten, isn't it?
