Crutcher reads!
OK, so that does not sound right, huh? Here is a video of Crutcher reading from his newest book, DEADLINE! Enjoy and ignore the weird error message as I have not figured out how to eliminate it yet.

Deadline , Before I Die Comparison
Doret

Have you read Deadline by Crutcher? If so how would you compare it to BEFORE I DIE by Jenny Downham. This definitely is not a question about which one is better, but rather how the authors differ in their execution of a similar topic. I am looking forward to reading Before I Die.

Re: Deadline , Before I Die Comparison
Comparing them would be apples and oranges, I think. BEFORE I DIE and DEADLINE do share one commonality: they are unflinching when it comes to talking about death and dying issues. I think there are defiite gender issues at work here as well.
