So, this morning the crew and I rose and departed McAllen and drove to San Antonio. I am here for a few days for the Heinemann Institute conducted by Kylene Beers and Bob Probst. It started this afternoon and goes until Wednesday morning. Tonight Linda Rief, also on the program, wanted guacamole and margaritas so we trooped down to Boudro's and ate and drank and laughed and told stories and had way too much fun. Now I am back in the hotel clacking away for a few minutes before I head to bed with a book that will not get many pages read before the eyes droop shut, I fear.
The Spurs are playing and the city is eerily quiet for now. I suspect we will hear some noise when the game is over. Go, Spurs, Go!
