April is School Library Monthfarians

In honor of School Library Month, here are some links to the research showing the importance of an adequate school library staffed by a certified librarian. As so many schools opt to staff the library with a volunteer or a paraprofessional, it should be no surprise when test scores fall, when circulation drops, when reading is no longer front and center in the school culture.
