I have reached the age where I am mu h more of a curmudgeon than I used to be. When I see people asking a question that they should be able to answer, it makes me a little irritable. Thank heavens I have friends and family who remind me that I have had 63 years to amass knowledge. I get that. I do. But I wish there were a way to share knowledge more widely.

One of the topics of later has to do with awards and how those lists of winners could help with all manner of requests for books. There are so many awards aside from the "big ones," the Newbery and Caldecott. How can we get word out about those other awards and the roles they might play in reader's advisory?
