greetings from the Jersey shore
No book to blog yet as my seat mate on the flight from Houston to Newark became fascinated with my Eee PC and we spent most of the flight talking. I am about halfway through the forthcoming Gordon Korman and hope to have time after dinner to report on it.

Now I am sitting looking out at the waves lap the shore. This is the site of the New Jersey Library Association. I am here to deliver a couple of presentations before heading down to see my pal Martha in Nyack for a few days. Would you believe it was 95 degrees when I deplaned? Gee, that's 10 degrees warmer than Houston. Global warming, I guess.

Off to dinner with some of the wonderful NJ liberrians. More later.

My favorite shore. (Especially a bit further south in Wildwood.) What a beautiful day to be there. I assume you're in Longbranch. If you know someone with a car, try to get into town to the Inkwell. Funkly little place with great sandwiches.
